Vachellia farnesiana 9cm

€5.00

Another beautiful and hard to find ornamental tree. One that has changed taxonomy a few times, now listed as Vachellia (previously Acacia), but looking all the world like Acacia, with classic finely divided, lacy pea foliage and yellow pom-pom flowers. This guy also has some spines and eventually forms a gnarly bark with age.

In this part of the world best grown as a container tree, or bonsai so that can be brought under cover over winter, as won’t like anything below freezing. An awesome thing though and very cool addition to garden displays.
