Here we go, another giant dandelion tree! *eye-roll. I’m not quite sure the greater general public are ready to embrace the “giant weed”, it’s all they can do to leave the daisies alone! Anyway… Should you want a magnificent plant specimen for your collection of this rare Madeiran native, then look no further!
With all the more unusual rarer stuff I like to remind people that sometime’s a plant’s best chance of survival is to get it into production, spread its genes about (in a responsible way of course).
Goes without saying, give this kid a bit of extra protection in winter, nothing too fancy, may even survive outside in a very sheltered spot and some fleece once it’s grown up a bit!
