Excellent sagittate foliage in that classic salvia style of thickish, deeply grained and textured. Leaves can get pretty big and whole plant sort of sprawls itself about when left free. Spires of blue flowers in late summer/early autumn.
Hardy down to minus five, prefers open, well drained soils, in full sun/part shade. Marvellous altogether!
