A hybrid between P. italica and P. purpurea.. apparently. Anyway, a lovely thing! Part of Gert and Elizebeth Stam’s (of Caherhurley Nursery) legacy that I took some of. A very nice hardy Phlomis, with a nice quality pink flowers arranged on silver/grey fuzzy stems. a small shrubby’ish thing up to about 80cm.
All normal garden soils that don’t sit sopping wet. Will be drought tolerant.
