Peucedanum verticillare 1ltr

€8.00

One of my favourite umbels! Flowering in the second/third year where they will spill prodigious amounts of seed from their lofty stilts. Dark maroon stems and nice foliage grows politely among other things to provide a subtle show-stopper when in flower high summer on.

Great thing for pollinators, as all the umbels are and also has a valuable expanse (up to 8ft) chunky stem for overwintering critters! Essential for wildlife gardens!

Short lived perennial/monocarp, but seed very viable when sown fresh, so collect it! Likes all nice soils, but will also go well in free draining, gravel style gardens, just might not get as lanky! full sun/part shade.
