Excellent plant for your hummingbirds. But bees will also rob from it. Massively drought tolerant, tropical, heat-loving perennial in tones of silver/grey, small round velveteen leaves and stems. Burnt orange narrow trumpet (more vuvuzela) flowers in clusters from mid-summer right through until autumn.
One to grow as a summer pot display and brought in over winter to be kept a couple of degrees above freezing. Very free draining substrate, won’t mind drought at all! About three ft eventually.
