I did it again, I propped a load more restio’s (the family this kid belongs to) despite them being the LEAST popular plant on the nursery! They truly are a marmite plant! Anyway, I love them and I am wont to grow them, so if you buy one, just know you’re SUPER COOL!
This guy is hardy to down to around minus six, won’t like it sodden, will grow to about six foot or so and is a particularly elegant thing. With restio it is all about the bracts, and Chondropetalum has lush ones! Trust me!
Recommend growing this wonderful thing up to a 4-5 ltr pot before making it face the wilds of winter! Give them a bit of cover in winter when young.
