Acacia cognata 9cm

You can kind of tell the sort of plants I like can’t you! Another friendly, beasty, animal looking thing. This is Acacia cognata straight form as opposed to the more common to find cultivar “Limelight”, which is a low growing shrubby thing. Here we have the tree which can reach 20ft plus.. if you live somewhere with a climate!

I suggest growing this guy in a pot that you can bring in and keep +5 in winter. Apparently they are borderline hardy in Australia down to -5, but I’m not so sure judging by how A. “Limelight” behaves for me.

A gorgeous, hard to find thing that will be well worth the boasting rights to nurture!
