Salvia dombeyi 1ltr

I’ve grown this up and through a young cork oak and it LOVED it! Enjoying the sort of dappled full sun effect I think. It is certainly a gangly lad who will need support for the tall wiry stems.

Flowers of large (up 9cm) bright red flower clusters dangle from mid-summer.

Over-winter above freezing on the dry side. Can be a little trickier to tease along than a lot of Salvias, but well worth the effort!
