Elscholtzia sp. 1ltr

€8.00

The origins of the particular plants I have are a bit of mystery, gifted to me by a friend who thought they’d been wild collected in Vietnam originally but the species name lost. Anyway, have been growing these for a good few years now and they’ve been tested in the ground outside over winter and sometimes come back.

I tend to grow them as part of pot displays then store on the dry side in an unheated tunnel over winter. Herbaceous woody things, can be cut back fairly hard in spring and will break again if top dies off any bit.

Full sun/part shade, doesn’t like sitting too wet.. I think.

*Flowers on these plants slightly different in appearance to picture, greyer.. if you even get there! Foliage with slightly maroon/grey central veining and stem flush.
